Training

For Their Future has developed intensive training sessions, covering specific Early Years subject matters to support good practice and positive outcomes for children. All of our training focuses heavily on practice based methods to support and enhance teaching and learning within the setting. We recognise the importance of building confidence and knowledge through engaging learning experiences in order to help practitioners adapt theory and methods into their everyday practice.

SEN Assessment Workshop

This workshop is ideal for SEN coordinators new to the role or those looking to refresh their SEN practice. The workshop aims to provide participants with tools to assess and support children with SEN.

Attachment Theory

The training is ideal for practitioners and professionals looking to understand Attachment Theory. The session explores strategies to help children overcome attachment difficulties and how to apply them to practice. This is an outcome focused training session and we aim to provide all participants with practical ways to support children with attachment related difficulties .

Improving Speech and Language Development

Ideal for practitioners looking to extend their knowledge of early communication difficulties,​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ explore strategies to improve speech and language development and adopt some tried and tested resources to improve overall communication outcomes.

Early Years SEN Support and Advice

Our Early Years SEN Support and Advice service provides settings in Worcestershire with hands on support and guidance from an experienced SEN EY Teacher/ Portage Worker. Our 1 hour session includes the following; a meeting with the SENDCO/Manager, child observation, clear strategies to support behaviour and or development and an indivudal teaching program designed for the specific child.

Our Training packages start from £75 (based on 9 participants or less).

Please note: A mileage fee may apply to any training session arranged outside of Worcestershire.

Terms and Conditions:

Full payment is required upon booking to secure a place on our training sessions. Payment details can be found on all invoices sent via email or by post if a request for a hard copy invoice is made. No payments are refundable in the case whereby the participant is unable to attend, however, a full refund will be given if for any reason the training session cannot go ahead or is cancelled by For Their Future. All participants will be supplied with a certificate of attendance upon completion of a feedback form at the end of the session, our feedback forms are designed to help us provide participants with the very best training experience. In order to collate accurate impact data, For Their Future may ask participants to complete an impact feedback form 4 – 6 weeks after the training event. Impact feedback forms will be sent out to participants via email and will contribute to our impact monitoring audit.
