For Their Future has spoken to many parents about their experience of having a new born baby and the one thing that strikes us is how common colic and constipation pain is for our little ones. That’s why we are pleased to offer baby massage teaching to parents, specifically designed to relieve colic and constipation pain. Baby massage is not only relaxing, it helps to soften stools, relieve gas and soothe tummy pain. Our trained baby massage therapist can teach you the techniques within the comfort of your own home, at a time that suits you and your baby. Having a baby suffering with colic is upsetting and with very little support, this period can feel very isolating.
Therefore, we hope by sharing some simple baby massage techniques and guidance, these precious days will feel less demanding.
Our baby massage therapist will arrange to visit you at your home, at a time that suits you. The session will last approximately 1 hour and you will be provided with technique training, technique booklet and a tailored baby massage programme unique to you and your baby. We aim to equip you with the correct techniques within one session; however, if you feel more visits would be beneficial you are welcome to book further appointments as and when you need them.
Please note, all baby massage techniques will be taught using a specialist doll and therefore we do not provide massage directly to your baby. For Their Future baby massage teachers are not clinical specialists and therefore recommend discussing any prolonged crying with your GP or Health Visitor before booking our baby massage service.
